You don’t need a referral to see a chiropractor since they’re a primary health care provider. Some insurance plans, though, may ask for a referral to cover visits to a physiotherapist or registered massage therapist (RMT).

How many visits you need depends on your personal health goals. We focus on effective, results-driven care rather than long or unnecessary treatment plans. Most patients achieve their goals in just 8 to 12 visits..

In most cases, x-rays are not needed. If, during your assessment, we determine that x-rays are necessary, we’ll discuss it with you. When required, x-rays are covered by OHIP.

Initial visits typically last 30–45 minutes and include your health history, a full-body assessment, a personalized treatment plan, and your first treatment. Follow-up visits usually take 20–30 minutes.

When direct billing is available, we’ll submit all claims to your insurance provider on your behalf through e-claims. If direct billing isn’t available, we’ll provide you with a receipt so you can submit it to your insurance company.

Assignment of benefits depends on your insurance provider. Our front desk team will confirm this for you before you begin any treatment.
